Suppression and Courage

In Dawn of War II, units can be suppressed when taking large amount of fire, to suppress, you need a weapon or ability capable of dealing suppressive damage.

The term courage can be used interchangeably with suppression. 0 courage means you are suppressed.

Effects of Suppression

• Maximum Speed x 0.35
• Weapon Cooldown x 20
• Courage Regeneration x 1.3

Breaking Suppression

There are a few ways to break suppression, the easiest is to retreat, your units will run straight back to your base and heal up. Alternatively, you may chose to use an ability that either counters suppression, or allows you to get away from the fight without retreating. You can also walk out of suppression, although this is usually difficult to do. Or, if you prefer, kill the units suppressing you, and you units will eventually return to their normal state.
